My picks this weekend are going to be HUGE!!!!!!!

But first let me see congrats to the leaders of the competition, Enzo, Aldawg, Dilly, and Joe Casciato. May the best prognosticator win.

Now, let me say this. I have internaly battled the idea of making some large 1000pt picks this season but have decided to resist' even though I knew it would mean a certain loss in the competition. The fact of the matter is this: If I wouldn't put ten percent of my bankroll on it, then why should I put 10% of my points on it? So, I am resigned to the fact of finishing of the year in the black, albeit not as much as a profit as years past. Bottom Line: This was a bad year for the Robnosticator.... I am at .500.

Now for my big picks.

Giants at Cowboys

This looks like a no-brainer. Take the points, but I just don't see it. I like the cowboys to cover despite giving over a TD.

Chargers at Colts

Colts win this one, but like the Patriots, the Indianapolis run defense is suspect. LT could send Indy packing but I predict it will be Vinateri who strikes the final blow.

Jaguars at Patriots

The Pats face their toughest test this season. As far as I am concerned, New England has been suspect at best, against decent teams. There margin of victory against winning teams is not as impressive as their record setting scoring total would indicate.

The Patriots have also not impressed me with their run defense. Del Rio knows that to keep the game close he needs to keep Brady and Moss on the side lines. Fred Taylor is the answer and potentialy the reason the fairytale turns into a nightmare this evening.

This could be the upset america has been waiting for. Lets be safe and take the points anyway.
