Swept the board last week with a 3-0 weekend. The winning continues this week and I'll start with the Saturday schedule.

UAB +18.5 (300 Fazools)

Sylvester Croom and the Bulldogs lost TWO starting QB's to injury. They will turn to true freshman Wesley Carroll, who has started one game and played in all five games this season, and true freshman Chris Relf, who has yet to see any playing time.

The next backup is walk-on Zach Harrington, who quit the team last week and then returned this week after his teammates asked him to come back. They will run the ball early and often chewing up clock. UAB stays close all game long.

VA. TECH +5.5 (300 Fazools)

Should be a low scoring game with both teams under 20 points. I like VA. Tech winning outright by a field goal. Special teams will play a role here as VA. Tech's freshman QB is in for a rough day on the road.

WISCONSIN +2.5 (300 Fazools)

In my first post of the year I told the world about Illinois and Ron Zook. I just am not ready to lay points to Wisconsin. Illinois is going to be a force in the Big 10 in 2008. It's Wisconsin's conference to win in 2007.
