Sedge Court Journal
Providing sports fans with expert analysis since 2004

Tuesday, September 11, 2007

Hello again Sedge Court Readers. It's Tuesday and that means it is time to review how we did against the spread. Bottom Line......

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the whole it was a solid week for the Sedge Court Crew. Despite some anti-colt sentiment early in the week, the cappers, by and large , managed to post profits for their readers.

Here is what we learned.

-The Colts are for real, and dare I jinx it, but I smell a repeat.

-Michigan and Notre Dame suck. Lloyd and Charlie are now the inspiration of a screenplay I am developing. It's about two fired college football coaches who find friendship in a floridian retirement community.

-As Borat would say: "Enzo picks are on fire...............not"

Lets get to the report card.

Sedge Court Cappers.

1.) Big Dumb Animal went 4-3 this week and was up +600 points (7-4 ytd) (11,100points)
2.) Bobcat went 5-3 this week and was up +1000 in points (8-8 ytd) (10,800points)
3.) Aldawg went 3-1 this week and up +500 in points (5-3 ytd) (10,500points)
4.) Dilly went 4-0 this week and was up +400 in points. (4-0 ytd) (10,400 points)
5.) Robnosticator went 2-2 this week and was up +200 in points. (4-4 ytd) (10,400 points)
6.) Joe Casciato went 3-2 this week and was up +100 in points (5-4 ytd) (9300 points)
7.) Enzo went 2-8 this week and was down -700 points. (4-10 ytd) (9300 points)
8.) Sleenutz went 0-1 this week and was down -500 in points. (0-3 ytd) (9200 points)

The Good!

Dilly!!!! Dilly!!!! Dilly!!!! The man of little to no words goes 4-0 in his debut!!!!!

Robnosticator Nails another of his world famous "Pick of the Week"!!!!!! 2-0 YTD!

Bobcat goes an impressive 5-3 and gains 1000 points after threating to walk the picket line over contract negotiations.

Aldawg offends animal lovers but still manages 75% winners after shitting the bed with what could be the "worst analysis ever".

The Bad!

Sleenuts graced us with this horrendous commentary then hid himself in shame for the rest of the week. 0-1.

The Ugly!

It is better to try and fail then to have never tryed at all. And unfortunatly for anyone who was following Enzo, he tried and tried and tried...10 times in all, and was still only able to squeak out two winners. We all have these weeks and the Enzo will be back, but until then we must say: Vince- Wipe your ass!

Table Dance Tuesday!

Britney, I don't think your fat and I still think your'e hot.

There. I said it.

Thats it folks. We will be back later with commentary and this weeks picks.

Stay Polska, and ummm, burp, frt....Hail to the Victors. Bwah hahahahahahahah

What the hell are these points? Points are used to determine the strength of a bet. Think of them as units of betting. 100/1000 points is the minimum/maximum wager a Sedge Court Capper can make. Each Capper started the season with 10,000 points. The capper with the most points at then end of the season wins the Jackpot Generally speaking 100 points would be considered one unit of betting.
