Hello again Sedge Court Readers. It's Tuesday and that means it is time to review how we did against the spread. Bottom Line. Winners all around.

One thing I try and do is to make an effort "not" to editorialize the report card. We point out our strengths and rip our weaknessess. With that said, Week one is tough for handicappers. Some years favorites crush their opponents and other years....well...lets just say teams can step on their kielbasas. Its a long season, and if you follow us, week in and week out, you should end up in the black.

So lets get to the report card........

Sedge Court Cappers.

1.) Big Dumb Animal went 3-1 this week and was up +500 points (3-1 ytd) (10,500points)
2.) Robnosticator went 2-2 this week and was up +200 in points (2-2 ytd) (10,200points)
3.) Enzo went 2-2 this week and up +200 in points (2-2 ytd) (10,200points)
4.) Aldawg went 2-1 this week and was flat in points. (2-1 ytd) (10,000 points)
5.) Dilly used his bye week. (0-0 ytd) (10,000 points)
6.) Sleenutz used his bye week (0-0 ytd) (10,000 points)
7.) Bobcat went 3-5 this week and was down -200 points. (3-5-0 ytd) (9800 points)
8.) Joe Casciato went 2-2 this week and was down -800 in points. (2-2 ytd) (9200 points)

Overall we were 14-13-0 (51.8%) in our first official week of selections.
Overall we lost -100 points.

100-300 point picks were 10-9 (52.6%)
400-600 point picks were 3-1 (75.0)
700-1000 point picks were 1-3 (35.0 %)

The Good!

Robnosticator Nails his "Pick of the Week"!!!!!!

Big Dumb Animal goes am incredible 75% in Week One of College Football.!!!!!

The Bad!

Bobcat goes 3-5. Granted he only lost 200 points, but 3-5?! We have come to expect more from the Seattle Seer.

The Ugly!

Joe Casciato never saw a 1000 point bet he did not like. The Shadow's mantra should be "Go Big". His record is good but his money management is well, errr, it's still week one so we will reserve judgement only to say this.... losing 8% o your bankroll on 4 picks is crazy.

The Stupid!

Sleenutz and Dilly both used there bye weeks in week one. I could be cool and let it slide but I am not going to. I sent emails and made several posts informing them that the competition started this week. In the end, I will probably win anyways.

Table Dance Tuesday!

Is that an Iguana in the Background?

If I ever have a daughter and she pulls this crap on youtube................

Thats it folks. We will be back later with commentary and this weeks picks. NFL Kicks off Thursday Night!!!!

Stay Polska,

Robnosticator

What the hell are these points? Points are used to determine the strength of a bet. Think of them as units of betting. 100/1000 points is the minimum/maximum wager a Sedge Court Capper can make. Each Capper started the season with 10,000 points. The capper with the most points at then end of the season wins the Jackpot Generally speaking 100 points would be considered one unit of betting.
