Where to begin?

I don't like betting any defending Championship team in any sport on opening night. I don't have any solid numbers, trends or statistics to back this theory up. (If you have those stats please let me know where to find them) Watching another team get rings and a banner raised always seems to light a fire in the opposing teams gut.

Look for the Miami Dolphins to knock the smiles off the Willie Parker, Jerry Porter and the rest of the defending Champs Thursday night. Willie Parker will have no where to go in the middle with a Miami defensive line featuring enormous tackles Dan Wilkinson and Keith Traylor.

Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor will look to shut up the home crowd early and often. Culpepper will be playing with more than just a lil something to prove. Nick Saban guided this team to a respectable 9-7 record last year and finished the 2005 campaign on a 6-0 run.

Still doubting the fish? Take a look at these trends:

MIA are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 1
Dolphins are 3-0-0 ATS in their last 3 road games

Steelers are 0-3-0 ATS in their last 3 Thursday games

Why bring up the ATS trends if this game is a PK? Well the line was Fish +4.5 just 3 days ago. With Big Ben out it went to a PK. By kickoff it will be Fish -2. Charlie Batch will lead the defending Champs to an 0-1 start.

No Bettis + No Ben + Charlie Batch = Dolphins road win.

DOLPHINS PK (200 fazools)

Now go make some MONEY!!
