Blame must be assessed for yesterdays devastating Colts loss.

Manning had a slow start. Should we blame him? No. He got the team into winning position with one of the greatest potential comebacks ever.

Vanderjagt missed a 46 yard field goal; should we blame him? No. 46 yards is a tough kick, it' a team sport and the offense could have got him into better range.

Could Dungy have done a better job of coaching and game planning? No. We all have the luxury of hindsight.

Bottom line is the Colts were simply outplayed and for the 4th consecutive year the Blue Nation is forced to suffer another disappointing playoff loss.

But none the less Blame must be leveled. Victory or Defeat often comes down to one moment, one big opportunity, one chance to change destiny. When that moment happens you need to be ready, physically and mentally....

And so I blame Nick Harpers crazy wife. Their volatile relationship has caused this guy legal trouble trouble and who knows what else. But now, their troubled relationship has cost Indianapolis Colts fans a chance at a Superbowl appearance.

For those who are unaware, Nick Harpers wife, Daniell stabbed him in the leg saturday afternoon in the midst of a domestic dispute. Had his leg been at 100% could he have outrun Ben Roethlisberger and scored the game winning touchdown off of his Jerome Bettis's fumble recovery? We will never know.

What we do know is this; his psycho wife went Benihana on his leg the day before the biggest game in Indianpolis Colts franchise history.
