Tonight the Old Man from Walla Walla returns home to get his ass beat down in front of his friends and family.
56 year old former Washington State alumni and current Dallas Cowboy, Drew Bledsoe, plays just his second pro game in Washington State during his multi-decade career.  Drew is once again united with 95 year old head coach Bill Parcells who recruited him in the the first round of the 1971 draft.   Drew is only expected to play a couple of series because "he wants to get back to the hotel in time for Matlock".
Drew who once had a reputation for being a bit of a womanizer and party animal is no longer interested in the Seattle Nightlife.  Thirty plus years in the league with stops in places like Buffalo and Boston have made him appreciative of women who shave their armpits and shower regularly.  As for his teammates, the Cowboys will be looking to finish this game early and retire to their hotel rooms, away from the collective body odor emanating from the stands.
But in all seriousness folks,  the Cowboys suck.  Last week they lost and managed only 11 points against one of the, if not the, worst team in the NFL, the Arizona Cardinals.  Seattle on the other hand, absolutely rolled New Orleans on the road 34-15.  I like the Seahawks at home tonight against an old and weak Dallas.  Unlike the ubiquitous 70's Volvo station wagon's that litter the streets of Seattle, Dallas will not fair as well against the unrelenting storm the Seahawks will bring this evening.
My Prescription:  Take Seattle minus the points, no beer since it's a worknight but feel free to enjoy a vanilla latte, and thank me in the morning.
